Finally..Apartment pictures!

Well, the wait is over. At long last, I have some pictures to post of our new apartment! (Mom and Leah, I know you'll be excited about this!)

Because of our lack of internet (which is another post all in itself) I haven't been able to make any posts about all of the stuff that's been going on, including moving into our new place, which seems incredibly spacious compared to where we used to live. It came fully furnished with a fridge, washer, dryer, couches, cushions, beds, curtains, table and chairs which was perfect for us. We're not going to be here long and we didn't want to bother moving a whole bunch of furniture into a place just to have to move it back out 6 months or so later.We bought ourselves the bare minimum, some dishes, pots and pans and bedding, and I put up some pictures, and that was about it! We were also really lucky because Daniel's cousin and his girlfriend lent us a TV and some other household stuff so that we didn't have to spend any extra money.

Our place is not that big, but it feels HUGE compared to where we used to live in Toronto. I actually have a kitchen...a real kitchen, with countertops! In our old apartment I was always complaining about having no space to put my stuff when I was trying to cook. Baking trays would often end up balanced across the toaster just to make enough room, and so this time when we were looking for apartments, Daniel paid special attention to the kitchens, knowing that a good sized cooking space makes for a happy wife.

I love our spacious bedroom! We have a big closet, and we have a second spare bedroom that we mostly use for storage.

We love our new place!!
